Biodiesel Tax Credit – Update
Biodiesel Plants are trying to hang-on in wake of the latest non-action by congress with respect to the Biodiesel Tax Credit. The American Soybean Association issued an Action Alert to the Senate to put the tax credit back into the National Jobs Bill. Hopefully, action will be taken soon on this initiative.

As most of you know the $1 Gallon Tax Credit did not pass the Senate. Some companies like REG are restating their hope for passage in January. It is important to read what the Illinois PMAA response to this issue is. Producers and suppliers will be impacted by this delay.
